The group's primary mission is to safeguard the city against external threats and rogue magic-users while upholding Cromital’s unique blend of arcane and civic harmony.
Their crowning achievement is the Cryo-mithral Nexus, an artifact that channels energy from the icy environment and the latent magic of the lake to create powerful blizzards on command. This device serves both as a defensive weapon and as a tool of control against threats of the city.

The key architect of the Nexus was Kaelith Snowgale, a former Aelstir Elder who joined the Nightfeathers after years spent observing Zephyriel, the Whispering Gale.
