Silja supported Briana's educational aspirations through a masters degree in education. Additionally, when Dave Parker walked out on his family, Silja moved in with her daughter and grandchildren in order to assist with the house.
History
Silja and Amy were very close during the years Silja lived with Briana's family. Amy took her grandmother's death particularly hard. Silja observed Amy's psychic ability and encouraged her to learn how to shield and ward herself.
History
Silja was the first person to recognize that Vinny identified as other than feminine. She asked him early in life what name he preferred and never failed to use "Vinny" rather than any of the more feminine nicknames Briana preferred. Vinny adored her and took her death very hard, regretting into adulthood that he never had the opportunity to truly come out to her.
