Rings in the PEYRA

Rings hold cultural significance within the PEYRA.     A PLYIE is a copper ring worn by an adult Free-Man within the PEYRA. These are considered proof of citizenry and tend to have iconography associated with their home provence alongside initials and other personalised symbols. They are worn on the index finger on the right hand, wearing a PLYIE belonging to someone else is considered identity theft and punishable by loosing the offending finger, effectively banishing them from polite society.   A GRYRSE is a ring that shows membership of an organisation or noble family. It is typically worn on the index finger on the left hand. It can be made out of any material but is always stamped with a sigil of their organisation.   GRAKROA is a decorative ring, almost exclusively worn by women. It is typically made out of precious metals to highlight the wealth of the wearer. These rings also tend to be adorned with jewels or beads to add to the decoration.
