Qualifications

In order to become a KYDIIM the candidate must be:
  • A member of the QAA class or higher.
  • Patient and the able to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Able to concentrate and to stay alert and aware of your surroundings.
  • Able to work well with others.
  • Sociable enough for challenging people politely but firmly.

Career Progression

There are 4 main paths for career progression an ambitious KYDIIM may take.
  • Gain seniority within the role, becoming KYDIIMOD.
  • Specialising in their role, becoming a KYDIIM WYER. These guards protect the political elite, and are paid accordingly.
  • Specialising in their role, becoming a NONKOIM EKSOOIS, they protect the citizenry from fires that occasionally occur in the city.
  • The path of MYNKIN is a legal path, they enforce the laws created by their superiors. Knowledge of the laws are essential for this profession.

Payment & Reimbursement

A KYDIIM is paid daily for their work after they have finished their designated route.

Perception

Purpose

To aid the MYNKIN in enforcement of public order and, when necessary, to obey the commands of a TRINTO to protect their home from invasion. Specific duties include:
  • Patrol premises and secure doors, windows and other entrances.
  • Check staff and visitors in and out of buildings.
  • Guard cash or other valuables in transit.
  • Search luggage for contraband.
  • Guard the boundaries of important facilities, like airports or power stations.

KYDIIM WYER - Green over-tunic with blue trim   Duties include:
  • Protect clients from threats like political opponents, stalkers or assassins.
  • Check out and secure premises before clients arrive.
  • Identify suspicious behaviour or unauthorised people.
  • Prevent potential threats or disruption to the client.
  • Stay constantly alert to react to threatening situations.
  • Accompany clients on business and social visits.

NONKOIM EKSOOIS - Green over-tunic with orange trim   Duties include:
  • Inspect and maintain equipment.
  • Carry out practice drills and take part in training.
  • Rescue people and animals from burning buildings and accident sites.
  • Control and put out fires.
  • Inspect buildings to make sure they meet fire safety regulations.

Tools

KYDIIM is provided a uniform of a green over-tunic with the trim coloured to show the region he is working in. An appropriate weapon is also provided.
