The people stopped milling around and took their seats when the horn sounded. The lights around the audience were extinguished and the ones on the stage lit. Silence filled the hall, the audience held their breath in anticipation. An explosion of sound as the musicians burst into action. The curtains pull aside revealing the lead on the stage. The music goes quiet and the lead takes a deep breath preparing to sing. A tradition as old as the nation begins again.

The Imperial Opera Company is run by the director but if the Emperor finds that the director is doing an inferior job they can lose the position immediately.

The Imperial Opera Company puts on shows from various periods of time, often seeing updates to older works, to entertain the people of Bral.
