Personal history

Crawley Crowmantle was born in the Cathedral of the Lightbringer (located in the halfling capital of Syrup) in the year 46 ABE. Their parents belonged to the Order of the Eagle and since his young days, he was already being indoctrinated into the dogmatic teachings of that organization. When he grew up he was forced to join the clergy and became a cleric of Ravinus, the Wielder of Light. However, he has always been unsatisfied with that situation, and one day he decided to give his back to everything he ever knew.
He left his hometown to search for himself and instead found only pain and despair. But he also found truth and commitment: he began to see the world as it truly is, without the uncomfortable lies told by his old church. Eventually, he joined a band of lost people that were being recruited for a more evil purpose: the cult known as the Undying's Hand were slowly gathering brainwashing people in order to make them fight for Amled, the Firstborn when the time comes. 
Always very gullible and angry towards Ravinus and the other gods, Crawley decided to join the cult ranks and quickly rose on them. Some years passed and he was granted a small blessing by Amled, turning him into a powerful warlock. He was given his own command amongst the cult and when the war started, he went back to his hometown and helped destroy it in The First Massacre. After that, he was sent to the village known as Viládesal to perform ritualistic summonings for his patron. He was told that the he needed to take the creatures he'd summing to a mysterious island to the north called Ralbun Island.

Crawley wants to rise in the Undyng's Hands' ranks in order to get more favor from Amled. He's a simpleton that has been manipulated to serve a god too many times, unfortunately.
