City Halfling

While the ascendants of all the Hill Halflings and River Halflings left the conglomerate of the Humans when they first arived in Lindrinor, the ascendants of the City Halfling remained with them in the first human city, Haven. And this was, probably, the worst decision they could make for their descendants.   The first generations of halflings did not suffer so much, for the humans were trying to sympathize. However, as time passed, halflings began to become more and more marginalized in human society. They started to lose physical jobs and were not being hired anymore due to their "physical weakness". Then, the King of Rockvar, in the year 1376 BBE, moved the halflings to the western part of the town, creating a district of their own, separating them entirely from the rest of the humans. In the year 914 BBE, the then Queen instaurated a law that prohibited halflings to circulate in "human areas" and in the year 514 BBE the then King made a law that allowed humans to hugely underpay halflings for their work.     However, at the beginning of the 3rd century, The Halfling Uprising took place. In that, the City Halflings united their forces with the Wood Halflings through the marriage of the leaders of this revolution: Ordo Blientiel Sackins and Lana Coyan Earthfoot Sackins. After the revolution ended, they, with a few other halflings, moved to Hope's Vale and founded Kingdom of Bridgelum and its capital, Syrup. All the different kinds of halflings came to live in this new peaceful town, uniting them.
