SIN

SIN, the Station Identity Network, is a planetary system wide network, operated by Piers-Breen Corporation. The network was originally created for use on corporate owned space stations, as an easy way to identify and track station crew. It began to be adopted into civilian life around E2.Y500, and was quickly adapted to the HERMES network. Achieving widespread popularity.   The SIN network integrates old-world social medias with banking and shopping. A SIN ID allows consumers to purchase anything instantly from integrated marketplaces, exchange funds, and to communicate with nearby contacts in real time via text, audio or video.   A SIN ID can be attached to any number of social media accounts, and integrates naturally with the Neural Lodge technology. Cameras, Machine Intelligences and even passersby can look up a profile by the ID that their neural lodge broadcasts. This is is used for smart shopping, allowing a shop's machine intelligence to look up and charge a customer for whatever they leave with. Requiring no sales clerk. The Symposium has also adopted SIN IDs for traffic fines, public transport fees, and road tolls.

This is neat, do you have any plans for the acronym being representative of how it's used? Are people who use it SINners?
