The Story of Glaa Nasima

One of the handful survivors of the Haldir Shazu incident at Wierd.1 Though there were several survivors - all comatose, Glaa was notably different in that she was conscious, though her condition made it necessary for her to be placed into a medically induced coma. She was sent to ARM University where her care was overseen by Dr. Lan Fantara.   Most of the time, Glaa remained comatose because when she was conscious (though not awake), her mind let out mentonic waves which telepaths at a distant describe as incoherent, desperate screaming. The half dozen telepaths (even boosted) who attempted to contact her mind when "conscious" were immediately rendered comatose.   Earlier in 0222 FE, a major explosion broke out at the Xenospace Research facility at AU closing it down and sealing off the entire research dome. Per AU protocol, many of the Projects were halted and displaced off-planet.2   Click here for the generally known part of the Legend of the Haldir Shazu . The following happened in play to Glaa, now Galaraeux, who has become a PC played by Amelea, yay!

Original Adventure Seed

In LoE Book 1, Professor Xenon, former instructor and friend of Nora and Taylor Whiteside, has contacted them about coming over for a visit while they're on Beautiful. He informs them about the Story of Glaa Nasima and is very sure that she has left some kind of clues in her writing which foreshadows her awareness of her the pending attack on the Haldir Shazu. The impact of that assault put her into a coma. No telepath has been able to rouse her from the coma as of yet, it is theorized that her conscience is lost in Xeno Space.   Her series of journal entries chronicle her time of education while in Federacy Space. The last entries detail her growing awareness of and then the actual assault. The sudden shock apparently opened her latent psionic - which she calls telesensory abilities, and she continued to chronicle what she was seeing until her mind was overwhelmed with the inability to explain what was happening.   One of the more fascinating things about her journal is that it was handwritten, an art form that few maintain. It's also theorized that her telesense abilities were tied into her writing.   Very few are aware but her body remains in a suspended animation on Beautiful. Professor Xenon will eventually indicate that he believes that Nora may have a chance of bringing her out from wherever she (her conscience) is at.

Alphan Actions during LoE Book 1

Nora and Taylor Whiteside go through the available information and find out that the half dozen telepaths who reported on her were unable to connect with her actual conscience, most being kept at bay by the combination of pain, distress, and despair she constantly gives off when she is not in cryo sleep. Taylor determines that someone is mystically reinforcing the binding holding her conscience captive, somewhere. While investigating her mind, Nora saw that Glaa's presence is in a world that she sees from afar while floating in space. Between Taylor and Nora, they create a door to the OtherRealm.   The Alphans enter the OtherRealm to rescue Glaa from Xenohotep the dragon. The first stop is a dream realm anchor in the form of the Shaldir Hazu and tangle with Lilith Chrysanthemum, a rather human-looking Xin. They “recover” Glaa's journal while there. After a series of adventures, they defeat Xenohotep and exit the OtherRealm.2   Oracle recognizes that T’lean is coded into her recovered journal, but they aren't able to share that information with others.

LoE 2AM

Amelea has taken play of Glaa, now Galareaux Nasima in 2AM. Click here for the Adventures of Galareaxu Nasima in LoE 2AM!

1Ship Failure

Most believe that what happened to the ship was catastrophic failure, but the journal of Glaa and the condition of her mind hint at something far, far more sinister in its implications. The Hazu may have been damaged or destroyed either before (!) or shortly after re-entering from XenoSpace.

2The Explosion

Yeah, well, that was the results of the PCs reentering from OtherRealm. We're still trying to shake out how to fix that...
