Haas Thinil Character in Laminarum | World Anvil

Haas Thinil (Hoss Thin-ill)

Haas Thinil was a broodmother of the Ravahinas Village of Naga-Tel. She was the first to make an official political alliance with the The Strand-Bloods. She received extensive visions from Chal Churdour and would normalize his word above the Quai, which would slowly expand between villages and become a standard god for the Naga-Tel, which the other inhabitants of Mot D'nir believe is the reason the Quai will no longer choose them.   When Haas's original broodmother died, she was one of the workers that left to be on her own. Her claim to fame comes from the means of her transformation into Broodmother. Like all Naga-Tel workers, she was male. A group of Krimits descended on him in the night, taking him to one of their dens. They left her deep in the inside ruins, plastering him against the walls of their cavernous den with a sticky biological substance. Knowing his death was imminent, he began the metamorphosis process, hoping it would give him the size and strength needed for survival. At the end of the transition, she rose, fed from the disgusting biological material which imprisoned her. She released any other surviving prisoners and slew any Krimits, keeping the den as her own.   When Haas Thinil was introduced to Chal Churdour late in life, she became obsessed with his visions and teachings (brought on by consuming the spores of the Dark Crop). Her obsession made her incapable of leading her people of Ravahinas Village, forcing Abbot II to stand up and attempt the job. Thinil would eventually be executed alongside Abbot II and their people, ending the presence ofChal Churdour in Laminarum for the foreseeable future.
