Einar-El
The Einar-El, or simply Einar, are a species of elf which appear in several pieces of elvish and human myth. Known for their communal and democratic lifestyle, they supposedly lived on a beautiful island nation far to the south in Laminarum, far below where any creature has travelled and survived (With the only known exception being Arniel Kane, a Thanid).
A Musical Species
Einar were written to be an extremely musical species. Whether for religious, political, or social events, the einar would share their feelings and ideas through music. Several bits of myth go so far as to discuss their democracy being run by musical arguments. Whether or not this is fact or hyperbole is unknown, but their myth paints the island they come from as a highly fantastical heaven, where conflict is sparse and inner beauty prevails.
Unknown Downfall
Myths regarding this species exist in several places throughout the continent of Silse and Trinen, all with their own twists and interpretation. It is said that einar society collapsed as a result of a grand song. Some claim that this was simply an analogy or mistranslation, and that the society collapsed due to war. Some myths state that a symphony of spells was composed, releasing some form of magic which wiped out the entire species as they gathered. A third myth paints their democracy as a farce, as a dictator hunting down every member of his species in order to make a grand harp with their intestines, similar to modern violins.
Relation to Elves
It is merely presumed that the einar were a species of elves, as all artistic interpretations tend to show them as tall and gaunt with pointed ears. There are stories which mention particular members of the species having purple eyes, a trait found in eastern elves. To further this theory is the behavior of the einar, which closely resembles the engrossing communal nature that elves display, avoiding conflict at all cost and putting all others above oneself. This has been used as evidence against several theories regarding the downfall of the species, as elves are generally assumed to be beyond corruption.

Anatomy
Typically depicted as slender, gaunt, pale, and tall. Some interpretations display them as being 7-8 feet tall on average.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
It is believed that due to their musical nature, the einar could perceive a larger pitch range. Further, they may have experienced entangled sensations, as seen in synesthesia.

A Harp of Human Myth

Many believe the "dictator" conception of the einar's extinction to be human propaganda, as the "harp" envisioned and built with the intestines of the entire species is suspiciously similar to many theorized designed of the The Rhythm and Vile, the greatest malevolent conception of the Ancient Ithitar and devil of depravity, Milin Orphi.
