Session 1

With their previous deed commended and rewarded, our heroes sat down for some rest. For one week they enjoyed themselves while keeping an eye out for any potential work that could sate their need for adventure, and fill their purses.

During this time Sam Calas decided to wander the streets of M'orn before coming upon M'orn's cemetary, and its gravetender. This gravetender offered Sam some guidance in how to pray and to a lesser extent serve, the thirteenth god of the pantheon, Death.

Additionally, Oryim found themselves restless and was in need of a score. Thus he began casing the town for any folk whose purse looked as though it could be lightened. In their search they came across a shady individual who skulked the streets in a dark cloak. After following them to their room at a local tavern, he waited at the bar intent to sneak into the individual's room once they slipped out.

After some time Oryim had their chance and leapt at it, sneaking their way up the stairs and picking the lock on the inn-room's door. Once inside he scoured it up and down before coming across a brooch and some letters. After some time inspecting the brooch, whose design resembled a hood and a crow, Oryim pocketted the letters and scurried out of the tavern to avoid suspicion.

Eventually, our heroes wait was ended, as a notice asking for help with postage caught their attention. Though, admittedly, the contents of the note had less to do with it than the reward did. After a quick meeting they agreed to take the job and made their way to the Mitlind post-shop.

After some haggling, and a very thourough contract reading, an agreement was made between the Mitlind Post-master and our heroes legal representative, Liaden O'Legal. These adventurers were to deliver three packages to Wrain's Hall, Twinriver and Ellbridge and would receive payment once the job was complete, though partial payments may be given for each package, and penalties to the payment would occure should any borrowed goods be returned in a damaged state or not at all.

Having a brief discussion to decide upon the best course of action, our heroes decide upon delivering the Wrain's Hall package first. After some time organising themselves and collecting equipment, they were ready to set off.

Along the way, our heroes encountered a fallen wagon, and approached to investigate only to find that the inhabitants of this wagon were dead, and raised as zombies. In addition to this, two ghouls crept from around the wagon to assail the adventurers. After much bloodshed the battle was over, as wounds were tended two things were noticed.

First, Sam noticed that a bite he had sustained was turning a dark shade and was not healing normally, while Oryim noticed a similar motif on the roof of the wagon. That of a hood and a crow's head.
