One of the top magic universities in the world, and certainly the oldest. This institution in Bhunyar, along with much of the rest of the city, was founded by a clan of giants called the Severed Stones. This school is primarily a wizard's institution, but has outreach programs to other kinds of spellcasters so that they can be licensed by The Council of Nine to practice magic for professional or personal use.

Structure

Andelen Severstone is the current Headmaster, and holds regular meetings with the head of each magic department in the underwater Citadel where the rest of the giants live. Outside of guidelines set during these meetings and the regulations that the Council of Nine requires for the school to remain accredited, they are free to manage their department's curriculums as they wish. The board of professors organize school-wide pursuits like sports, a series of academic journals, and various clubs.

History

Before this institution was officially founded, Sibar Severstone gathered and trained an elite circle of wizards, who cleared the surrounding area of its terrible monsters, thereby making it safe for the smaller trade settlements that sprung up around the canals to expand and unite.

Sibar Severstone opened the campus in the year 564 Post-Splice, with many members of the original circle serving as its educators.
