The Club
The Col. Christopher Forma Kids Club, known simply as "the Club," is a place for the kids of the town to get together to hang out and play. It's a nonprofit, with local and state funding, and also some private partnerships. There is a "Member of the Month" award, leading to a prestigious "Member of the Year" award each year. It is seen as an honor; another way for kids to shine.
The Club has kickball leagues, basketball courts, a playground, and an indoor swimming pool (fancy!). It's also got some arcade games, though they are relatively old. There are pool tables for the teens, air hockey for everyone, and lots of board games. There’s also a big art center, with all the paint that you can spill.
Mr. Hoske is in charge of the club. Sheryl Walker and Bill Herman also work there.
Rumor has it that The Club’s awards, are a cover for recruitment for.... something? Maybe an elite fighting force, maybe a CIA think tank, maybe a coven of witches and wizards, or maybe just a way to find the kids in whom the old faerie blood still runs true…
