After the cave-in at the Breathing Caves in Horsethief National Park, Kyle has lost some of his energy and is prone to seizures. He also has terrible nightmares about squeaking horrors crawling over him in the darkness. In truth, Kyle was bitten by a Sanguisuge and something in the bite has infected him.
