Biological parent of Eustacia Booker and Tamsin Booker.
Gabriel (Gabe) is now in his early 60s. Gabe worked as a builder for Hathorne Industries since graduating high school. He was very good at it. He goes bowling to humor the women in the family but he’s bad at it and that’s okay with him. He enjoys watching British mysteries and trying to solve them before the main character; he gets it right about half the time. He recently retired following a hush-hush incident in which Gabe (evidently) heroically saved the life of a Hathorne (no one seems to know who) but lost a large chunk of muscle in his right arm in the process. He seems to be sworn to secrecy, but has hinted to his daughters that he will never need to worry about money again, presumably due to the gratitude of the Hathorne family. But who knows. He ain’t tellin’. Not even if you give him thirds on rhubarb crunch.
