Anatomy
It is hard to say Monarchs are biological creatures in any way we would understand it as they are not carbon based lifeforms. They appear in a large array of shape and sizes but mostly they have some humanoid elements to their form and are often described as looking like ethereal statues or machines. Other traits are their shells made of white plates with a marble feel to them. Their shells being either hollow or filled, giving them a large range of weights. Golden highlights, disks and orbs in individual colors also come on the design of the Monarch, the whole being and its part held up and moving partly by an innate ability to float and by the largest parts of their body the flying sensory dust.Perception
In the human realm the sensors of Monarchs are quiet limited. Having no way of perceiving smells and those with light sensitive orbs for visual input are often near sighted or colorblind. Their main organ for perception being their sensory dust. This dust feels around the area and communicates to the main core of the Monarch about vibration, texture and structure of anything it comes in contact with to give the Monarch a clear picture of everything around them. Meaning that their acoustic abilities are highly refined and practices selective hearing over large areas.Monarchs with Knights can always feel the bond between them and can pinpoint where the Knight is in relation to themselves. Some Monarchs who are extra sensitive to the bond can feel the emotions and thoughts of their Knights, others can tap into the senses of the Knight and experience what they do. Seeing through their eyes.
Reproduction
Fey, being built up from words, vows and divine language do not undergo any sexual reproduction. Instead they reproduce by handing down their name, or part of it, to either a floating word that can grow into its own being with time or an already living entity for the Monarch powers to manifest. Meaning the Monarch splits itself to pass on what might be seen as their ‘genetics’. However this ritual of passing is filled with rules and stigmas as the power of Monarchs is something you must be worthy of and worthy of giving.Names
Being fey Monarchs have a true name core, this core being built up by two parts. One holds roots in one of the many major Monarch families, the part that has been passed down to them through generations of Monarchs. The other part is one unique to them, to be shaped and called by. In the human realm the closest to their own functions and being is the human language this second part of the name gets shaped by the words and whispers laid thousands of years ago, building up the ley lines in the area, and so the pick up an old word that resonates with them to use as a base to materialize in the human realm. Meaning they receive a name that is based on region and pronounceable by human tongue.Powers and Abilities
The Vow
Knights are beings who have made a bond with a Monarch by making a vow. The vow acts as a magically binding contract. The Knight cannot break a vow and will instead bend over backwards to uphold it. A bond can break if the Monarch makes a choice to break it, however this takes a great toll on the Monarch. The bond can also become an echo if the vow for one reason or another no longer holds any sway or stake over the Knight. For example if the Knight had vowed to protect someone and that someone dies the vow will become an echo. Echos are mostly useless to the Monarch and Knight as no powers can be exercised through an echo.
To make a strong bond it must hold weight on the soul of the Knight and secure from becoming an echo. Examples of standard vows include truth-saying, eternal obedience, or an emotion.
Knights
What abilities then does a Knight gain when a bond has been established? Just like how a Monarch's name is divided into a solid part and a flexible one so does the powers that manifests in the Knight. The solid taking form of a weapon or item and is often vary easy for the Monarch to maintain but the Knight must still ask for the Monarchs approval and power to summon it.The other powers a made of words woven into the bond by the Monarch that can express themselves in a rainbow of supernatural abilities. Be it heightened senses, fire and heat or fey poison. The strength and limits of the ability is set by the Monarch and how much energy they can pour into a specific power. The Knight also sets limitations as they can vary in how well they can handle and control the powers given to them as well as their sensitivity to the bond and the supernatural.
Monarch Powers
Outside of equipping Knights with weapons and abilities a Monarch can display an array of other abilities. Some Monarchs can buy how their physical forms functions perform different tasks. The powderised portion of their being might be very light and weak while other Monarchs can use it to lift, choke, cut or other depending on the properties of their dust and if they have focused to train it. Just like a muscle the dust can be trained to be more sensitive to stimulation or become stronger. A Monarch can also channel certain abilities of their own through the bond such as in a calm setting bounce and flow energies, easy whispering through the bonds to familiarize themselves with the ever shifting bonds and refresh themselves in the process as a form of self healing.
A Monarch learned in the power of fey language and the techniques of flowing spirit and willpower into words can use their bonds as basis for performing magical tasks of their own, however even the strongest Monarchs usually can’t perform more then three to five unique abilities as they must know how to speak the words of power in a correct way that resonates with their mind, will and perceptions. Recorded powers includes; blinding or over/under stimulate senses, levitating objects, creating heat or electric bursts, illusions etc.

While this article was great to read, the formatting itself seemed pretty barren to me. It has a lot of potential for being a fantastic and interesting article. Maybe use some BBcoce and throw in a few quotes , images ( if you can) and maybe use some more linking or tooltips alongside breaking down the article into smaller and more digestible chunks to read. Still congratulations and keep up the fine work!
