Structure

Led by the head of the house, a title which is passed down to the firstborn son of the previous head. The current head is Lord Fredrick Wright.

Public Agenda

House Wright manages the production of golems, magic, and technology. They instill the values of higher education, reason, and learning in the people they rule over. House Wright also manages the Wright Institute of Natural Science, while holding a majority share in the Deruas-Wright Railroad and commanding the Whiteguard, a band of elite magically armored shock troops frequently sent on campaigns northward.

Assets

House Wright rules over the city of Pantopolis, and also runs the most esteemed college in all of the Kingdoms, the Wright Institute of Natural Science, Established in 460 Age of Flame. They also control the Prague District, the largest producer of firearms and golems in the world.

History

Established in 460 of the Age of Flame, House Wright was founded by a young scholar by the name of Kenneth Wright who studied the potential applications of a number of sigils gathered from several ancient tablets dating back to before the Sunfade. After several years of study, the young Wright managed to unlock the secrets of Arcane magic. Kenneth went on to make several advancements in the field of magic, inventing the first functioning Golems and magically reinforced materials, enabling feats of engineering previously thought to be impossible and enabling the construction of the White Tower of Pantopolis, among other famous buildings. For his contributions to the Kingdoms, House Wright was formed and given custody of the White Tower, and the new providence of Norianne. Since then, the house has been fiercely dedicated to the progress of technology and magic, funding many scientists and scholars from all walks of life. Almost every technological advancement within the last two centuries involved House Wright in some capacity, be it as contributors or investors.
House Wright is also notable for allowing and encouraging higher education amongst their citizens, producing an abundance of skilled labor in settlements under their control and being the first to adopt a public school system. They are also entwined with House Gibeault, supporting the providence of Grenesse in their attempts to modernize over the past few decades.
