Theodore Roosevelt

Theodore Roosevelt was an American politician who served as the twenty-fourth Chancellor of America from 1912 to 1918. Theodore Roosevelt would be the first member of the Libertarian Party to be selected as Chancellor since Abraham Lincoln in 1874, and the first to serve more than one term since Henry I in 1838. A prominent figure in the progressive movement of the Kingdom of America, Roosevelt worked closely with King Edward III to root out corruption within the American government. Roosevelt was selected from his prominent speeches and populist agenda. He worked in areas such as to encourage women's rights and wildlife conservationism.

During his term, the Great War broke out in Europe. Roosevelt was among the few members of the government to argue for American involvement. However, King Edward refused to agree to a declaration of war, and instead declared neutrality during the Congress of Columbia, citing the Continental Ordinance. Roosevelt's desire for intervention ultimately cost him re-election for a third term in 1918.
