Keford
The largest city in the Strica Seaboard, and one of the largest in the entirety of Kima. Despite the city's wealth, many of its residents are impoverished and struggle to make ends meet. The class divides here are deep, and the more fortunate residents are literally separated from the poor by the earth itself.
This city is also one of several that are commonly fought over by the seven major crime syndicates. It is typically caught between the World's Edge Consortium and the Eclipse, though the Dayspring Court has also been known to step in. Currently, it is held (tenuously) by the Consortium, though their grip appears to be slipping as the Eclipse has moved into the area with increasing force.
Demographics
Most of the residents of Keford are poorer Mojčkans, though some wealthier Feuyans live here as well, remnants from the Aleksium Rush of the 200s. The city is also a haven for pirates due to its port. While it's not the largest port in the province (that honor goes to Stirgeborough), it is the most "friendly" to illegal sailors.
Infrastructure
The city has become so large that it's had to expand vertically. Multiple tiered levels extend into the sky and into the earth, largely coinciding with class divides. It extends so deep that the roots of the Mojy Tree can be seen in some parts of the infrastructure. This is the main draw of the city, attracting scholars and mages from all over the continent to investigate it and see the roots for themselves. It's a much easier journey than trip to the above-ground part of the tree on the Howling Mountain, and the roots are where most of the magic is believed to be contained anyway.
