Karnia sees humans for the first time. Legends tell of great ships forged from silvery steel, a massive fleet which lands on the northwestern shores. Roughly half of the people remain while the others return to their ships and depart, never to be seen or heard from again.

The voyage of the silver fleet
Population Migration / TravelThe other species which would go on to claim Karnia (The Elves, Dwarves, Shifters, etc) also begin arriving on their ships. The locations vary, with each new fleet choosing a place for itself to moor and disembark. As with the first fleet, the ships themselves do not stay with roughly half the inhabitants sailing away to an unknown location.

Founding of the Scholars of Mirelidia
FoundingIn the ancient lands of modern Yberig just west of the Temple of Zhar a scholarly order establishes itself. Saint Mirelidia, the namesake for the order, was a former priestess from the Fire Temple who wished to spread knowledge to all who would come. At the time, any and all were welcome if they had an open mind and a willingness to learn. What started out as a small school of several hundred within a few decades had exploded into a small city, with tens of thousands of students and many times that number who worked as chefs, architects, tailors, and whatever else the burgeoning population needed.

The Burning of Heaven
Celestial / CosmicOn every corner of Karnia, for 3 days and 3 nights the sky blazed with falling tears of flame. While the intensity varied, it did not abate until the very end. In some places metal fell from the sky, mostly causing mild to moderate damage in the process. The lands east of the Dalewin mountains suffered the heaviest blows, particularly in the area that would later be used to construct the Erudite League.

Founding of Cadorellan
FoundingFollowing a great war with a foe now lost to time, the various tribes and clans of central Karnia formed the Kingdom of Cadorellan, named in honor of the wartime leader and now King Cadore.
