Political event
Following a decade of relative unrest along the borders of Cadorellan and the Soijan Wilds, concessions are made on both sides and tensions are eased. In time they would come to be close allies.
The decade predating the treaty saw many minor skirmishes occur all along the border between the two nations. Cadorellan merchants bristled at what they saw as draconic tarrifs on their goods, with the Soijan Wilds isolationist policy making it quite difficult for outsiders to find any footholds. Likewise, the Wilds had many greivances which went back at least for a century where previous treaties prohibiting logging and hunting on their grounds were being ignored. This in turn only served to justify their mindset. After much deliberation, a meeting was arranged between the two rulers of their respective nations. Set at the Ironwood Fort, a largely neutral location that had been co-built about a thousand years prior to facilitate trade, those bonds were renewed after many weeks of debate. Trade would flow again, but only through the Ironwood. The tarrifs would be made reasonable, and enforcement of the borders would be done from both sides to ensure compliance from any wayward poachers or merchants. While there would still be minor incidents here or there over the years, they were by and large dealt with swiftly before they could become an issue.
