Founding of Cadorellan

Founding

Following a great war with a foe now lost to time, the various tribes and clans of central Karnia formed the Kingdom of Cadorellan, named in honor of the wartime leader and now King Cadore.

Not much is known still about the war which shook Karnia and brought around the series of unifications across the continent. Some claim it was raiders from the northern seas, although little evidence exists to support this theory. Others point to the gradual distancing from the Unbound that occured afterwards, and claim it to have been a divine war against a splinter faction of that pantheon. Whatever the truth may be, what records remain indicate that military build-up briefly continued around the continent post-war, and remained stable thereafter for quite some time.
