Sewyn Courier Services
Originally conceived as a communications service for the people living in the capital cities, the Sewyn couriers are a wellknown company of horseback messenger that have existed for nearly four hundred years. In the last decade, Yinleth Sewyn has massively advanced the baseline knowledge of the Enchantment school of arcana trying to overcome the standard limitations on distance exhibited by traditional spells. Her success has led to the Sewyn Messengers' Charm, a custom spell that's owned by the company. This new spell allows immediate audio and/or visual communication across the continent - under the correct circumstances.
The company still offers their horseback delivery services but has noticed that they're now essentially killing their own hussle and haven't come up with a corrective course of action yet. Instead of several smaller, spread-out locations they're considering moving to one larger location where they can host more conversations simultaneously as the number of arcane-capable Lettermasters under their employ continues to increase.
Structure
The actual members of the Sewyn family are all highly regarded within the organization and otherwise do as they please. It varies among them but aside from the actual work they do, most family members know the general direction the company is heading and try their best to make sure they don't ruin their 'cash-cow'.
Beyond that, each depot is managed by a senior Lettermaster and they run the entire location, including hiring and training based on a budget. Some depots could have as many as a dozen horseback messengers but that number is quickly in decline and those messengers are either out of work or have transitioned to the growing pool of arcanists earning their Dannamore certifications so they can continue working with Sewyn Courier Services as lettermasters that cast their proprietary spell, the Sewyn Messengers' Charm.
