Vörðr-Briane Incursions

The Vörðr-Briane Incursions refer to a period of time where various Vörðr clans lead a series of invasions into Brianey and set about conquering and pillaging the Briane. While a few of these were efforts of the Jarls, the majority of these raids were independent campaigns set about by many warriors hoping to reap from the riches they'd get, with a few particularly ambitious warriors even hoping to become jarls of the new land. Although they were bloody, they ultimately accomplished very little in the grand scheme of history, except to forge serious animosity between the two ethnic groups.
