Ælen River

Said to be the blood of a powerful fey, the Ælen River, originally spelled Ailen, is on the grandest, oldest, and most important features of Brianey.

Geography

The Ælen River is wide and cuts through the region of Brianey and the Allfire Peaks . It flows south from the northeastern coast of Brianey all the way past the Allfire to the west coast of southern Kadagard.
The river cuts through the steppes in the center of the region and winds through the Wōdenwood in the south. The rivers many tributaries stretch throughout the region, with many weaving together and creating dank swamps.
