Raúl enjoys being the smartest or the most powerful in the room, but he doesn't mind it when he isn't. After all, what matters is to find a way to use that on his favor anyways.He's more informed and creative than he is smart, and his magic is more based in practice and tricks than in power (even when he actually has plenty of that), and he's especially good at using people's mind against them, both by magic spells or just the right amount of gaslighting and manipulation.Everyone has a price. It' s unclear what he does for The Two Families in this town that isn't related to either magic or the country government or economy. Most think that is something secret and quite important, and that there is something in the area that is relevant somehow. Other, those who know him better suspect that he managed to manipulate someone to get himself a permanent paid vacation. The last time Manfred and Margareth considered the question, their best guess was that the Keeper sent him as far as he could because he didn't like his tricks and didn't know any other legal way to get rid of him.According to his brother he has never do anything noteworthy. Raúl usually shrugs when hearing that.
