From kid thief to pirate queen. Raised in the streets of Meckhagen and guided by the brilliant Dexter Diasun. Kat Kheylana is the person that so far has seen to it that everything falls into place. Indirectly it was thanks to her the immortals were formed.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Kat is in relatively good physical condition. While she is in no way athletic her body is capable of enduring combat situations. She uses many mechanical enhancements to aid her in combat such as an eyepatch that helps her search for targets with her scope. She lost her right leg and left arm though they have been replaced by robotic versions of it that are optimized for combat situations. She is heavily reliant on an assistant AI to help her control the robotic parts.

Kat has an almost hispanic skintone.

Kat has a relatively round face with sharp chin features and a somewhat large head, possibly connected to her brain size.
Identifying Characteristics
Kat has several piercings in her pointy ears, the biggest one being near the earlobe that is shaped like a skull. She has the symbol of her fleet tattooed on her shoulder blade, tribal lines on her right arm and a heart on her 'chest'. She is known to sometimes wear eyebrow piercings as well but the use of those is sporadic.
Physical quirks
Young Kat typically skips while walking and she almost always stands upright.
Older Kat is right handed and before she got a robotic left leg she consistently showed off while walking, swaying her hips heavily. Now that she has a robotic peg leg though she is a lot slower and can often be seen forcefully pulling up her heavier metal peg leg while she walks, typically she does this when she is tired or upset.

Kat has no special abilities other than her natural ability to very quickly take aim and hit with high accuracy.
Apparel & Accessories
Kat likes to really sell the idea that she is a pirate queen. Her robotic hand and leg are modeled after a hook hand and pegleg (even though the hand has a ton of functions, including a regular robotic hand.) and she wears an eyepatch that helps her use a one-handed sniper pistol, allowing her to zoom in on the scope and use it optimally without having to bring it close to her eye.
She has a shoulder pad that serves as a seat for Dexter, indirectly letting him take on the role of the classic parrot that pirate stereotypes tend to have. She tends to dress in mostly brown colors, wearing trenchcoats and tricorn hats while letting her large white sleeves come out of the trenchcoat sleeves. Instead of medals, she has the insignia of the fleet pinned on her chest and a band with her rank as the queen displayed on it.
Her sniper pistol is just small enough to pass as something she can wear on her hip alongside her cyber scimitar. Skull imagery is very present on her outfit as well.
Specialized Equipment
Kat is extremely well equipped, carrying over 12 weapons on a regular basis, however, 10 of those are built into her robotic limbs. Her arms can switch out to several tools including a grappling hook, a blowtorch, a wrench and much more. She wears no armor really but she does have personal energy barriers active at all times, allowing her to take minor punishment before having to seek cover. The battery life of her barrier generators is normally more than enough to let her step in the open and take out her target.
Her most important gadget, however, is her assistant targetting AI, or ATA for short. The ATA helps Kat control her mechanic limbs smoothly as well as lock on to targets and calculate tricky to pull off ricochet shots. Her ATA is what makes Kat the lethal sniper she is known as.

Kat was 13 when she slew her first dragon using only her wits and the co-operation of some friends. Raised in the streets of Meckhagen scamming and stealing from random passersby. She was guided by Dexter Diasun, a former mad scientist that got shoehorned into guiding her. She was very established in her skills from a young age, proving herself many a time during her journey to the legendary thieves vault. She never stopped her feats of heroism, going on adventures again and again.
When she turned 28 she briefly joined a college to refresh her knowledge on the now more popular styles of engineering before briefly joining forces with the peacemakers. After resigning as a well-decorated sniper, known for her dexterity with an outdated hand-and-a-half sniper she purchased a minor organization of seaborne mercenaries known as 'the drosden fleet'. Her pet project to turn it into a respectable country has taken a jaw to the left while becoming more successful than she ever could imagine, incidentally also making her childhood dreams come true.
Today the drosden fleet is loved and feared by many. The nightmare of any hostile army's logistical branch and staunch protectors of freedom and independence.

She's essentially homeschooled, but her guardian was Dexter who has PH.D's in almost every field, master's degrees in the remaining ones and is generally regarded as a bit of a mad scientist. As such Kat can call herself a masterful engineer despite not having a certificate for it. She knows basic combat training and excels in marksmanship and the maneuvring of vehicles of class 7 and higher (Flagships, convoy ships, aerospace vessels, and other carrier/transport type vessels of size at or larger than 1000 meters in length). She has a minor understanding of robotics and is well versed in politics, having experience as the sole military leader of the drosden fleet and its nation.
Employment
Kat is the sole leader of the drosden fleet and its nation, essentially being their queen. She's also known to lead her armies into battle personally and do frequent research into R&D. Formerly she was unemployed, mostly getting by on minor crime or mercenary work.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Kat slew her first dragon, saved an aircraft carrier several times, made a major archeological discovery and outwitted an entire army of well-trained soldiers when she was 13. By the time she was studying in college, she had also helped lay tracks to conquered lands, invented revolutionary new engines and slew a bunch more dragons. By the time she became an adult she was already hardened and overly competent. Her biggest achievement, however, is indirectly having the immortals assembled, something she does not get credit for.

Kat, like Jessie, failed to protect her lover during the mission that was fatal for the immortals, something that technically was not her fault but she still blames herself for.
Mental Trauma
Kat, despite having experienced combat and being put in harm's way since she was but a kid is surprisingly healthy in psychology. Later though she has started to experience mood swings and a short temper, something she takes medication for. Kat is overall very hard on people, especially people she cares about and the only person that is known to be able to assert any sort of control over her is her guardian, Dexter.

Kat's moral fabric, despite her questionable actions of raiding ships of people she deems enemies of Jeslore stands strong. She's a staunch advocate for freedom, any kind of it and will relentlessly attack any form of censorship she catches. Her catchphrase "Freedom before death" reflects her policies and mentality on slavery. She'd rather her soldiers or herself die in battle than end up in chains. No one should have a master, those that do are to rise up against them. She strongly encourages people to not care about the opinions of others and to break free from societal chains.
Taboos
Generally, Kat is regarded as a criminal. While many do have a fondness for her she is still considered a high profile target of the authorities but due to her public status, the strength of her settlement and underground deals with the government she is not actively hunted.

Motivation
Since she was young she wanted to become one of the pirates from her bedtime stories, the one that steals from the rich and gives it to the poor. It is a dream she has made come true fairly well. In her adult years however she is primarily fueled by her desire to abolish any form of slavery and provide freedom to anyone. Another constant battle is for her humanity, over the years she has had to replace many of her limbs with robotic versions of it. She is constantly debating with herself whether she is still an elf or a robot when the truth is that she is something in between.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Kat's a legendary mechanic, a skilled political orator, an extremely lethal sniper, and a fairly decent helmsman. She can construct working ships out of nothing but scrap, suitable for space or otherwise. She has inspired her fleet and earned their undying loyalty for years now. She can hit a target from miles with a one-handed sniper rifle and she can skillfully maneuver massive large ships through the vacuum of space.
However, Kat's skill on vehicles does not extend to smaller more mobile vehicles. Where she is able to control a ship in a battle she is not good at high-speed car chases. She falters in more technical hacking related tasks and in combat she quickly gets weaker the closer enemies get to her.
Likes & Dislikes
Kat used to be a rosy-cheeked, optimistic and all-round cheerful kid that dreamed about her fleet and her machines. Growing up though she became a lot more cynical and serious. She enjoys tinkering and getting new machines to work most of all and takes joy in seeing oppressive regimes fall to revolutions, especially those inspired by her. She is known to have a fondness for lounging around in a pool with expensive liquor even though she won't turn down cheap ale. Over the years Kat's taste has become extremely refined, she prefers food that is well made and while her taste in liquor resembles that of a pirate, meaning she'll drink anything she will be very picky when it comes to food.
Kat hates rules and having to answer to others with a burning passion. She is extremely rebellious and is well known for using profanity, regardless of the situation.

Kat is very benevolent, more so than you'd expect from someone who's built their career on raiding ships and taking down regimes. She offers sanctuary for any and all war refugees and defends these safehouses fiercely. She's loyal, brave and can be very caring. Kat understands that her status comes with great responsibility and has little to no moments where she is seen carelessly wielding her status around.
Vices & Personality flaws
Kat is short tempered and can be very impatient. She's also known to be extremely brave but this often goes over the far end, making her seem more impulsive than anything even if it does work out in her favor. Kat's not-give-a-fuck attitude establishes her as independent but can often rub off people she is supposed to meet. Worse than all of these is that Kat has a bad habit of making bad first impressions. She's also bad at taking suggestions from people she judges as unfit, she can be very judgmental and in general, the only person that she listens to is Dexter.
Personality Quirks
One of Kat's many quirks is that she's known to snort when she laughs, a habit she desperately tries to hide. Another one is that she is very sensitive about her height and will get very angry when people call her names that reference her height. She's also known to have glitchy voice errors when she is nervous or scared.

Kat's hygiene is a mixed bag. She's excessively concerned with being in good hygiene and almost always smells like soap but since she is also a mechanic there are very often occasions where she is covered in motor grease.

Kat has good relations with her guardian Dexter, who loves her right back in his own cynical, nihilistic way. She's engaged to Blaze Crimson but has no plans to marry and has friends in the likes of Jessie Red, Sylvia Sunshard and Keya Gildas.

Kat's mother died when she was very young and her father died when she was roughly 9. Although she does have a brother the two barely talk to each other because of their opposing philosophies.

Kat is a convinced Atheist. She does not trust the vanguard and when a god exists she typically sees them as threats. Things that are more spiritual and less provable are wasted on her, Kat does not like religious people much.

The young Kat is a cheerful, outgoing child that constantly fails to realize there are dangerous people around in the world. She's optimistic, helpful and very forgiving. She prefers not to use violence.
When she's older she can easily come across as cocky and overconfident. Kat is not a calculating person, she can be very chatty, snarky and wisecracking. She's rarely ever unconfident either.

Kat has no real pets but one of her obscure hobbies is interior and exterior design. Kat has many 3d computer files of unrealistically sleek space ships.

Young Kat has a cheerful and loud way of speech. She will often talk before thinking but what comes out her mouth is rarely ever something offensive. Her voice is something you'd expect from a kid her age.
Older Kat has a relatively low tone for a woman her size and speaks with a thick accent. She will often speak relatively fast and curse somewhere in the middle of her sentences.

Kat is extremely rich and has a habit of spending it all back on her fleet, though she did have a period where she spent loads of it on her throne room. Most of her income comes from taxes collected from her nations, black market sales and bonuses from raids. Kat is a bit of a reckless spender when something seems like a good idea to her she'll invest a lot of her own money into it.
