Oasis
The city of light
The headquarters of the drosden fleet. It is known to be one of the most technologically advanced cities in all of Jeslore, home to over 1,5 million sentient beings. It is well known for airborne swarms of nanobots that help maintain order alongside the privateers that wander the streets. Crime is well regulated here, things like fencing and copyright infringement are allowed in this city as it is fully protected from corporations.
It has a police force of sorts known as 'the privateers' that will maintain order. It is a very thriving city that has an extremely successful movie district and a massive spaceport. It is widely regarded as a paradise with its almost nonexistent taxes and free healthcare. Especially those liberated from regimes are treated well.
Demographics
A solid chunk of the people in Oasis is liberated slaves, refugees, and criminals. Most of them have been re-educated into being a more beneficial function of its society. Oasis is a city where everyone is equal below the queen that rules it.
Government
Oasis is under the monarchy rule of Kat. Citizens are taxed based on their liquidity and taxes there are extremely low as the drosden raids provide a certain level of income for its citizens.
Defences
The wall was built before the city itself and is equipped with 7 rows of powerful fusion cannons built in the wall every 70 meters. On top of the wall, there's a network of powerful anti-air cannons with fusion ammunition. To deal with the threat of a siege each district is equipped with an artillery cannon. All access routes can be closed with several rows of blast doors.
Industry & Trade
Anything except the food is made within the walls of the city, there's no farming district so most food is imported using the ports. Funding can come from taxing the citizens, drosden raids, the sale of raw materials and their movie industry.
Infrastructure
Oasis is an extremely brightly lit city with a black wall surrounding it, built in one of the darkest corners of Jeslores second elevation platform. It is well fortified and streets there are well lit, there is a sewer system below it and a specific district solely dedicated to R&D. There's plenty of roads and spaceports riddling the center of the city as well.
Assets
Oasis is extremely well defended and more than ready to deal with the threat of an incursion. It's also home to one of the two only R&D districts in this solar system. It has direct access to the sky and sea as well with strategically placed ports and a fruitful cave system below it ripe for the collection of raw materials.

History
Oasis was founded and built from scratch by Kat somewhere around the start of the Synthrise. There's not much history to it because it's so well defended.
Architecture
Most of the buildings are either made out of an extremely hard type of plastic, stone or metal. The streets are brightly lit and the most common color around these parts is white. Roofs are usually flat and connected as well.
Geography
Oasis is placed in an artificially made cave near the ocean, naturally making access to it quite difficult from points that are not intended. Cave-ins are prevented with carefully constructed support beams and access to the sky is made possible with teleporters located inside the city and atop the cave.

Oasis is built atop a rich area of raw ore.
