Wildrground

Geography

Wildrground is a vast, dense forest the edge of the forest is dotted by small settlements and homesteads. At the center of Wildrground is the largest tree in existence, from which roots reach out in all direction. Wildrground is full of all manner of fey and beast as well as the Mortal followers of Gianti and Itar.

History

The Wildrground is one of the planes of Orbis and one of the common destinations for many Mortals reaching the afterlife, following judgement in Tribunal. Wildrground is the origin of most of the life that now inhabits Jeharr and is believed to have been one of Ito's many attempts at creating their magnum opus, before creating Jeharr.
Following The Ascendant War, Wildrground became home to Gianti, Goddess of Nature and Itar, God of Free Will. This was done so that the leaders of the Interventionist Gods could keep an eye on them and so that they could be leveraged as hostages if the Non-Interventionist Gods attempted to rise again.
Since the ancient conflict at the beginning of time, much of the conflict between the Gods has settled, but old wounds still ache, even in Wildrground. A large swath of the forest was burned by Axius during the Ascendant War and nothing has ever grown there since, in spite of Gianti's best efforts.
