Incend

Geography

Incend was originally a piece of The Plane of Eternal Flame and shares many of its qualities. Incend is comprised of continents of obsidian and vast seas of molten rock, just as The Plane of Eternal Flame. Gouts of flame, Elementals, and lava falls often appear on Incend from The Plane of Eternal Flame as their shared origin has caused them to be closely tied to one another. Incend is an inhospitable plane, covered in molten rock and violence between the native Demons and Devils.

Localized Phenomena

It is comparatively easy to escape Incend as opposed to other planes of existence, though the options for escape are similarly inhospitable. The easiest places to reach from Incend are, the Plane of Eternal Flame and, uniquely, The Sea of Sparks. It is actually often easier for Mortals on Jeharr to route their planar travel through Incend in order to reach the Sea of Sparks in a way that does not simply result in them traveling to another plane of existence.

History

Incend was once a part of the Plane of Eternal Flame, back when Ito originally created it. Ito was said to have been so thoroughly disgusted by this part of the Plane of Eternal Flame that, using powers and abilities that have been lost to time, Ito tore Incend away from the rest of Plane of Eternal Flame and hurled it out of Internus. Ito then repaired the Plane of Eternal Flame and Incend's fate remained a mystery. Sometime after The Ascendant War, Incend somehow returned from Externus, even more warped and terrible than when Ito originally banished it from the Cosmos. Incend is the only known thing to have ever departed from Internus and returned.   Incend is thought of by many as the best evidence that The Elemental Planes were failed attempts by Ito to create their magnum opus before creating Jeharr. This is because the Demons and Devils that are native to Incend are uniquely able to "feed" on Mortal souls. No other creature in The Cosmos is able to so easily and readily pervert a repurpose the Mortal souls.   Incend poses a great threat to the rest of The Cosmos, as Demons and Devils grow exponentially in power the more Mortals that they slay and they are supernaturally resilient. Whenever a Demon or Devil is defeated outside of Incend, they merely reappear in Incend after a short period of time, albeit in a weaker state. This is also the reason why Devils and Demons are constantly attempting to escape Incend and infiltrate other parts of the Cosmos.
