Burear is a range of crafting arts all involving Bure. From furniture, the houses to art pieces, Bure is used on both planets and space colonies. The range of techniques is wide and each location has seems to have their own specialties and styles.   A burearuvie is some one who preforms burear for a living, or for their own entertainment/use.

Madja

Madja, the art of creating Mad, is a structural and artistic craft. Used for creating structurally sound furniture, vehicles, and buildings. Most popular in the Monev Calv Swamp region of Vondren.   Madja ref

Zoccija

Zoccija, the art of creating Zocci, is an intricate from of Burear often used to cover walls and items. Zoccija is most popular on the space stations, and Zavi Station in particular is home to some of the best zoccija burearuvie.
There are two main types of Zocci, Full and Skim.

Full

Full Zocci is where the crafting is the piece. Be it a wall or section of furniture, the craft creates structure and is used in the finished building or the piece as is.

Skim

Skim Zocci is more like a coating to things than the thing itself. Once the craft is finished thin layers are 'skimmed' from it to create a thien paperlike lineing that can then be wrapped around other items or plastered onto walls.   Zoccija ref

Ucwdeja

Ucwdeja, the art of creating Ucwde, uses smal strips of a bure plant to create intricate shapes and designs. Used often for baskets, boxes, lamp coverings, cages, room dividers, windows, and furniture.   Ucwdeja ref

Honwja

Honwja, the art of creating Honw, is the art of weaving bure leaves into items such as bags, mats, baskets, cushions, etc..
There are three types, Gleam, Parch, and Strand.

Gleam

Gleam involves bure leaves that were treated when fresh and alive, the Honw made this way keep the bright color and tend to be more structurally stiff than the other forms on Honwja. Good for contaners that will be holdign food or liquids. Sometimes used in furniture creations in conjunction with madja as well.

Parch

Parch involves bure leaves that were already dried when treated. Leaves are often first died for color before use to make intricate pasterns. Parch Honw tend to be coarse but strong and last a long time even with rugged use. Often outdoor furniture, mats, large containers are made using the parch method

Strand

Strand alos involved treated dried leaves, though these are split into fine fibers down the grain of the leaves. As a result the items made this way are ofter and more subtle. Bags, table coverings, wall hangings, and even clothing can be made with this technique.   Honwja ref

Utility
Used for art and structure.
Manufacturing
Treating bure for long lasting use is usual done before anything is constructed and involves soaking the plant in a liquid mixture that cures it and makes it last for a good number of years. The longer it is soaked the better, though sometimes applying a finish, and reapplying over time, can extend the life of the item as well. Some buildings, if treated and up-kept properly, can last hundreds of years.
Complexity
While the tools needed are very simple, the processes can become very complex, depending on the skill of the craftsmen and the desire of the customer.
