The Republic of Rarresh

Rarresh is a large territory on the western side of Ivryia. It is the fourth populated state in all of Ivryia, with a total of 8.4 million people of various cultures, with a specific focus on the Elunemar ethno-religion. In terms of landmass, it is the fifth largest in Ivryia, and the third largest of its continent with an area of 187k mi².

Structure

The Rarreshan Republic came to be after the disollution of the various kingdoms that once occupied the land of Rarresh as seperate nation-states. When the nation-states came together, these seats of power became magistrates, with representatives being sent ot the capitol to aid in making decisions for the entirety of Rarresh, with this governmental body being overseen by a senate. However, because of the magistrates once being the seats of nation-states (typically kingdoms) the power was not held in the hands of the people, but rather in a more complex oligarchy in which political manueverings were still carried out with polical marriages and aliances.

Obviously, the area of Rarresh is under control of the maigstrates and senate. The small state of Rozred in under protection of Rarresh as a vassal. Rozred is a small republic on the southeastern region of Rarresh, bordering Elune Mar lake.

Legislative Body

The legislative body in control of Rarresh is a senate, with control over the maistrates of each region of Rarresh. However, during times of war, the senate would either elect or simply allow an emperor to take control of the government to fully protect the people of Rarresh as a military leader.
