The Alu'thaniel are largely the magical research and offense branch of Galasthin's military forces. They specialise in arcane spellcasting when deployed, allowing other divisions to handle divine magic, but their research is across all kinds of magic.
They are commanded by Commander Lyadrí An'thimael, famed for her intelligence, no-nonsense attitude, and her part in instigating the Purge.
