Merahilani, according to many, is a loose collection of tribes and land masquerading as a nation in the northeast of Takawaoku. Holding some of the continent's densest jungle and most difficult terrain, Merahilani is a naturally hostile nation full of terrors for the unprepared - and yet local custom throughout every tribe is to greet visitors with a warm smile.
It borders Kirinui, with whom the nation shares its closest bond, at its west, Rhaead at its southwest, and Tzoltekan at its southeast. Merahilani maintains very few strong connections with nations other than these three, preferring to be self-reliant, and as such is one of the nations hit hardest by Gaia's Lament.
