Session 39: And so it Begins

General Summary

DATE: 22/09/41-12/10/241

• Party spends the days before their Regiment is ready performing a variety of tasks
• Grimmie, Narron and Jarren return to Kharahal via teleportation to do some things before they become busy (Grimmie makes the theory behind a number of items and gives them to Khontu, Narron works with the Cult and Jarren makes a proper rifled barrel out of adamantine)
• Lohren talks to his dad and Bubba meditates
• Next day Grimmie and Lohren seek out the camp of the Moku Mages, where they managed to convince them to use non-lethal magic to one-up the Charter, as well as introduce the concept of Psuedo-metamagic
• Jarren and Aleki work for two days straight but after much experimentation have a 'bolt-action' rifle created. Mass production of this weapon is still a few years off as the right tools for mass production do not exist, and most smiths would be unable to make it
• On the 1st of Yazerran Grimmie and Lohren attend a Soul Sink in the evening (Narron sneaks out to watch, it is the one divine ritual that he likes)
• When the party awake on the 2nd they are greeted by Lt. Naru, the officer assigned as their unit's Quartermaster
• The day is spent organizing what units they want, with the regiment being marshaled in the evening
• From the 3rd to the 8th the Regiment is stationed on the border training in a Fort, while a small scouting party keeps tabs on the Crild border, eventually noticing an army crossing the northern border in the afternoon of the 8th
• Next Day the Regiment crosses over, securing two towns and moving up north
• On the 9th another two Crild forces have been noted to have crossed the border, and two allied Regiments move in to secure the region
• Late on the 9th an allied regiment reports that it had made contact with a Crild force south of Dawn's Call's position, however with the intel that the party had the northern front was more concerning
• On the 10th the party made a mad dash to reinforce the allies in the north, securing a town relatively nearby while the scouts revealed more of the map
• 11th the party constructed a Fort in the town, and then moved out towards their allies
• 12th the party laid a trap to bait in the Crild, which paid off, allowing for them to ambush and capture most of the enemy force without any casualties
