Divine Symbols & Sigils
Most common symbol of Nythrion is a laurel of Firaemel present in a ring, with a depiction of the moon placed on its thinnest side. All moon-based iconography generally refers to Nythrion, though this symbol is utilized by both the House of the Pale Father and the Strix Moon Priests.
Holidays
13th Nythraad, Day of Ascension: Commonly celebrated as the day that Nythrion 'blessed' the Strix with their altered forms, though this change would actually take a few generations to finally manifest. In other Nythrite communities this day is also worshiped as 'Firamaer' in Sylvan, or as 'Mortal Watch', a two-week long vigil that marks the end of the Holy Telite Calendar.
Every 'New Moon', when Nythrions light cannot reach Ioral, the Priests of the Pale Father hold a Vigil, often accompanied by other faithful, where they create what is called a 'Soul Sink', a partially divine and partially arcane ritual that draws souls into it and stores them, safe from corruption, until Nythrions light can once again bath Ioral. If this is not performed, various outsiders tend to prey on the wayward souls, causing some to manifest as spectral assailants while others are consumed, never to return to the Soulforge.

Divine Goals & Aspirations
Nythrion seeks to maintain what their worshipers call "The Eternal Flow of Souls", to maintain a balance between the souls on either side of the Soul Gate. If too many remain within the Soulforge very little life will be able to exist on the mortal plane, though if too many remain on Ioral not enough can be cycled back through for new life, dooming the world to stagnancy. To aid in this objective Nythrion tends to place a great deal of care when returning the essence of mortals to their proper afterlives, as misplacing them could lead to various infuriated essences hijacking souls and causing havoc.
Physical Description
Body Features
Generally depicted as a lithe humanoid with exact 'racial features' varying depending on culture, though a number of features remain constant. Nythrion is always depicted as having black hair of varying styles and lengths, Steel Grey eyes and skin as pale as the moon. In some depictions he appears heavily scarred across the torso and arms, often considered in reference to the scarring the physical Nythrion seems to have suffered in its protection of the dead.
Apparel & Accessories
Most often depicted as wearing starry cloaks that conceal most of his body, though some bare his chest to display scars, as well as being slightly armoured around the joints and even, in some depictions, the head with a steel grey mask that lies mostly flush with his face, decorated with various ancient symbols and patterns. Nythrion always carries with him a Lantern Staff, a long pole with a lantern dangling from one end, giving off pale moon light, which he uses to protect the souls of the dead on their way to the Soulforge. This staff resembles those of the more traditional Nythrite Priests, a wooden staff clad with some ornate metal working with a spiked lantern, to ward off demons and other evil spirits.
