The Coven of the Ancient

The Coven of the Ancient, is surprisingly one of the newer covens. They were ratified only a few decades prior to the formation of The Hartfawn. The Coven of the Ancient specializes in creating things. Many artificers are drawn to the coven because of this. However, unlike conventional engineering, the Coven of the Ancient power their machine by trapping spirits. Any spirit of evil can be trapped in one of their crystals and be used to power one of their inventions. While at first some of the other covens did not like this practice, they eventually embraced it as the Coven of the Ancient's witches only did it to spirits that were willing, or evil spirits that were bound to the crystals as punishment for their evil deeds. Recently, the Coven of the Ancient has been working with The Azure Coven to create airships for them.

Everything has a use if you are creative enough.
