Coven of the Ice Garden

In ancient times, it was thought that ice had healing properties. People thought that so much so, that they would use it for all different kinds of things, that were not actual uses of ice. As time drew on, people realized that ice itself had no powers, and they left their healing to magic. However, it was not long after that the founder of the Coven of the Ice Garden came across the Ice Garden. In the northwestern part of the Pretara Peaks, there is a small valley, and inside one of the caverns within, you will find a garden filled with flowers made of pure ice, like they were carved out. It is here that the founder of the Coven of the Ice Garden, Alueria Montessa, met the kind spirit of frost. She taught her about healing with ice, and how using her abilities she had maintained the gardens for the last three hundred years. Since that day, the Coven has been guided by the spirit of frost, and taught all the ways of magical healing. They choose to spread their knowledge and influence throughout the country, setting up hospitals and infirmaries throughout the country, free for anyone to use, if they have the need. They built their headquarters, Ice Wind Keep, around the ice garden to keep it save and the frost spirit with it.
