Fire
Bottled Fire is one of the four instances of Elemental Energy harnessed for technological use. Bottled Fire tends to be the most difficult to harvest Element when using traditional means, and its cultivation led to the creation of massive drills around Albietha's surface. Many of these drills were created in the heart of what is now the Somber Lands, and remain abandoned monoliths to the civilizations that existed before society's collapse.
Fire perpetually forms at the heart of the world's molten core and comprises most of the planet's mass, as such, when drilling deep enough, it's rather easy to acquire great quantities of Bottled Fire without the fear of depleting the world's resources. Without the use of a drill, one would have to travel to areas such as the The Scarred Mountains to harvest the fire that seeps from the world's core. Alternatively, there are the occasional areas deep in the Somber Lands where geysers of flame have formed due to pressure beneath the world's surface. These areas are often sites of gathering for bandits and pirates out in the Somber Lands due to the easy access to the easily acquirable Energy.
As most vehicles and firearms were created before the Malignancy, many of them function off of Bottled fire. This makes it difficult for many smaller societies to maintain vehicles for transport. Firearms, on the other hand, are far easier to modify for the utilization of other Elements.
