Ashen Valley

Ashen Valley refers to a valley in the Somber Lands in between The Scarred Mountains.
Ashen Valley are characterized by the blackened layer of ash that spreads the entirety of the valley's length. Years of exposure to the ashen waste has dyed the cracked soil beneath the constant ashy snow that dusts the area. The Valley is long and winding, and also uncharted due to the high presence of Elementals in the time before the Abandonment, and any who should be brave enough to travel to the Ashen Valley should be prepared to traverse its mazelike depths if they want to make it out alive.

Dragons of the Plains

Ashen Valley and the surrounding mountains were famously the nesting site of a large population of Fire Elementals. The massive fiery creatures, ranging from dragons to combustive land mammals, were fiercely territorial, and only the most passive and stealthy explorers were able to scout and discover in the Valley.
