Boden Stables
Overview
The Boden Stables is owned and operated by the Boden family. There are three stables in Mordisi, each run by a member of the Boden family. They also own stables in Alverton and Burnsley.Purpose / Function
The Boden family maintain the stables so that the citizens, tourists, and adventurers of Mordisi can rent or purchase horses and camels to use around the city.
Architecture
These are basic stables, with stalls for the horses and camels, a pen for daytime grazing and resting, and a room for veterinary use.
History
The Boden family bought all three stables in the last six years. Before that each stable was own individually by different families/owners. There was a price war between them, trying to see who could sell/rent the animals for the cheapest prices. It drove all the three businesses into the ground. The Boden family was able to sweep in an buy them all up at a much cheaper price. They have established themselves as reasonable with their prices, quality with their care of their animals, and excellent with their customer service.
Tourism
There isn't much in the way of tourism in Mordisi. However, it is the hub between Burnsley, Alverton, and Savos/Seameet. This means there is a lot of traffic in and out of Mordisi and renting camels or horse for moving products or people is usually cheaper than owning multiple teams.
The Boden family owns the stables in Alverton and Burnsley. They have an offer on the table with the stables in Savos and Seameet, but until they own those stables, they have a contract with them to trade rental animals back and forth.
