The High Throne Conflict

This was the shortest war in history that lasted two weeks. The only casualties were from messengers killed after delivering letters to each side believing they were spies. Forces on both sides were sent along the boarder and almost began to march until it all was suddenly stopped. Both sides suddenly came together before neither side could meet on the battlefield.

The Conflict

Prelude

When the Ethonia Republic was founded Anapiosia was offered to join. Anapiosia replied with disgust and hate. This escalated to war within the week.

Outcome

Ethonia had their forces deployed all over their nation during this time before the Imperium's invasion a few years later.

Aftermath

This war proves the natural barriers prevent any southern force from attacking the north and vice versa. The High Throne Mountains are perilous for a military campaign and this was discovered by the military leaders who were planned the invasion.

Historical Significance

Legacy

This war is left out of most historical texts due to how insignificant it was to the scheme of things. They shouted at each other only to declare war then suddenly stop. Nothing was gained or lost, but this did lead to eventually conflict between the Imperium a few years later. We see this has a reason why Ethonia Republic failed to repel the equality sized forces.
This was such a strange occurrence. They escalated extremely fast then deescalated at the same speed. There has to be more to this story... What do you think?
