Althea Gaering is the second daughter of Agrane Gaering, the Duke of Meadowbrook. Unlike her older sister Lyra, Althea has shown a keen interest in the magical arts from a young age. She has been known to spend hours practicing her spells and enchantments, and is already showing great promise in her studies at the Academy of Enchantment.
Althea is a reserved and thoughtful individual, often lost in thought as she contemplates the mysteries of magic. She can be somewhat aloof at times, preferring the company of books and spells to that of other people. However, those who get to know her well find her to be a kind and caring person, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Despite her young age, Althea has already accomplished much in her magical studies. She has a deep understanding of the nature of magic, and has already created several of her own spells and enchantments. She is particularly skilled in the art of divination, and has a gift for sensing the emotions and intentions of others.
As the second daughter of the Duke, Althea is not next in line for the throne of Meadowbrook. However, her talents and abilities have not gone unnoticed, and many speculate that she may one day play an important role in the affairs of the kingdom.
