Elf
High Elf
The High Elves of Illios are the elegant, classical elves, they often times are at the forefront of society, and live in sync with there Wood Elf cousins. They can be found on the Throne of Av'Anloch, and mostly live in the Kingdoms of Av'Anloch and StormHaven. There are few High Elf families of prominence outside of these Kingdoms, but rare.
Over the Years, especially after StarFall, the High Elves can be found much more common throughout the land, some High Elves have decided to stretch there legs, and relocate to the other Kingdoms over the last 1,000 years.
Wood Elf
The Wood elves are the elves most in tune with nature, preferring to live within the forests of the land. The forests of Av'Anloch has long been home to the Wood Elves.
While elves can live to be 750 years old, its not common for them to do. complications from aging, and the threats of the world in general are still problems for elves.

Biological Traits
Trance
Elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Darkvision
Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
