The House of Gale has ruled StormHaven since its founding in the Age of Arcanum, The Gale's united the multiple Dukedoms into what would become the old StormHaven Empire, while they have never been able to rebuild this Empire after the Succession War, they still control the Kingdom of StormHaven.

The House of Gale is an ancient family, they pride themselves on their lineage and the success they have had in ruling StormHaven, despite many wars, and numerous political plots over the years the Gales remain in power. The family tries to act with Honor and with the interest of the people in mind.
They have a fascination with Dragon Lore and have funded many researchers in trying to uncover what caused the disappearance.

The Azure Keep is the castle in Kynem, home to the Royal Family, they also own Withall Castle and Eldord Keep within Silvervale as well.

The Gale's have been in StormHaven since the age of Arcanum, back then the Gale's were an independent duchy, Of the Dukedom of Silvervale. The family is known to have draconic blood in its lineage, as there have been multiple people born to the family with Gold Scales.
