Dreadbourne

Formed from the salvaged remains of technology after the Great War, Dreadbourne was forged. A flying city for refugees of persecuted races, the Elves used magic to create this safe haven for other magical races. Dreadbourne flies around Iedar Tegon in no particular pattern to avoid detection, it remains elusive and hard to find. Despite nearly everyone knowing about Dreadbourne, no one can point to a specific location or time to board the derigible.

Geography

Split into three layers, this large blimp has an entire city within it's walls, defying all physical boudaries it manages to support an ever growing population. On the lowest level, the slums and middle class are found. Living on the dirtiest level with all the factories and engines to propel Dreadbourne, nearly everyone and everything is coated in a layer of coal dust, the only difference between the poor and middle class is how close they are to the engine.

The middle layer is where the upper class resides, full of elaborate path ways and tiled buildings, the inhabitants here are the magical folk and the wealthy. Despite Dreadbourne being a home to refugees, this didn't mean that racism was eradicated. Magical folk such as Elves retained power over other lesser perceived races such as Kolbolds, Kenku, and others. The only non-magical being that are on this middle level were those that came from power or wealth before the uprising. While it provides a safe-haven to all those persecuted from the rest of the world, racism is still very prevalent in Dreadbourne.

The topmost level is a large conservatory and observation area, lush and full of life you would never think upon entering that it is even enclosed by glass. Only the elite and middle tier have access to this area. Within the forest are places of worship for multiple dieties that the residents pray to. These priests/priestesses viewed themselves as even higher and more elite than the magic folk and demanded the highest and most beautiful location in Dreadbourne in exchange for helping to create it.
