Nasduq Traders

The Nasduq Traders are a group that basically run the economy Dreadbourne. They consider themselves to be elite in their profession, some even go so far as to believe they are more powerful than the actual high council. Recently established in comparison to the life of Dreadbourne, they have a good reputation with the government, but less so with the commoners. They have lots of ties and methods to get any task done, even if they are less savory. Many people come to them with rather peculiar requests, many require bribes to make happen. Often, the payment is collected in the form of a favor rather than monetary amounts, this allows them to grow in power and influence over the city. As a result many people fear this small group, even suspect the traders had a hand in a dissapearance of a well-known individual.

Identifiable by their deep purple robes, becoming a new member is incredible difficult. Most of the members are each the head of a trade sector within Dreadbourne, clothing, meats, dry goods, and the like. They meet every third day to discuss new trades made, bribes more accurately, as well as catch up on genuine business.

As previously mentioned, they hold quite a bit of blackmail and favors over the town as influence in its operations. They have contacts with some of the more powerful magic families in the elite class. They also hold quite a few commoners in their pocket, acting as spies for rumors and other victims for potential "trades", you can never quite know where they are.

One member, Nedoris Regdar, one of the few dwarves found in the middle level, is who you come to for your more…illegal requests. He frequently travels between levels for "business" reasons, as the Nasduq do have influence over all of Dreadbourne. But if you are looking for a change of venue, he is who can handle those arrangements.
