North Iastarene
You stand in the dark with the rain pouring down around you. Soaked to the skin, you look up at the rotting wooden sign planted firmly in the ground at your feet. 'Welcome to North Iastarene. We hope you enjoy your stay.'
Geography
The landscape is harsher here than in it's southern counterpart. North Iastarene is a land of rocky mountain ranges and barren rain-washed planes. Even though it is heavily populated with a large range of towns and villages, it is considered a less than desirable location to live.Inhabitants
The northern Isles are mainly inhabited by the humans and elves who fell under the dwarves rule. Due to the harshness of both weather and landscape, in comparison to the south, they were forced to leave their homes in the south so as those in power could live in comfort and ease. Not all of the Northern people were forced from their homes though. Some have lived there for generations, working and farming the land for hundreds of years.Regions
