Shield Team
Composition
Manpower
A Shield Team is a 12-person unit that is set to guard a single person or location. In events that multiple people need protection, a Shield Team will be used to guard up to three people before another team is brought in. The most teams that will be brought in at one time, for one event (the annual The BFA - Business First Authority shareholders meeting, the only one of their meetings where all members must attend in person) is 24 teams at a time. Homeland State Authority will only employ 48 teams at one time. All teams are made up of members of former Strike Team that are being retired from active offensive duties with high honors. It is a very important and prestigious position to achieve.
Equipment
All Shield Team members are equipped with a standard issue defensive knife. a stun-gun stick, a Blue/Black Scale Pen, and a ear-wig headset.
Vehicles
Each Shield Team is equipped with 3 HSV (Homeland State Vehicles). These are bullet/explosion-proof vehicles that sit at least a foot higher than any other vehicle on the road. They are matt black, menacing-looking, and unlike the vehicles of Strike Team they are meant to be as conspicuous as possible in a big stick kind of approach.
